Supply Chain Program Manager – SONIC

This position is responsible for leading execution of Sonic specific initiatives through collaboration and communication with Sonic and Inspire Supply teams. This position is responsible for executing national promotions to meet strategic objectives.

This role will sit in our Atlanta Support Center and will be onsite 4 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent the interests of SONIC to Inspire Distribution

• Build relationships with the Inspire Distribution team.
• Ensure inventory of all items is adequate to meet the demand of the SONIC brand.
• Incite a sense of urgency for issue resolution and proactive and transparent communication.

Execute SONIC initiatives

• Participate in Sales and Operations Planning activities for SONIC-specific initiatives.
• Lead communication of SONIC Initiative execution plans to the field including but not limited to timing, force shipments, and strategic re-order.
• Direct and Indirect inventory management of new items, ensuring adequate inventory while reducing obsolescence.
• Continuous improvement of tracking and reporting methods to ensure inventory is in the right place at the right time.
• Identify and resolve issues where the supply plan is compromised and/or action plans are not being followed.

Interact with key SONIC leadership and SONIC franchisees to ensure transparency, efficient program execution, and issue resolution

• Participate in the SONIC Franchise Advisory Council Customer Engagement Task Group.
• Build relationships with key franchisees and field team members to proactively identify concerns/problems.
• Communicate potential inventory issues proactively to leadership and franchisees/operators.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-year degree in a technical or business discipline is required.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with recent responsibilities in an external-facing/franchisee-facing role.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Restaurant/Food Service experience preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES

• A working knowledge of the Arrowstream platform preferred.
• A working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite.
