WBA has an opening for an Insurance Support Specialist within our commercial lines department. This position can be a hybrid role, offering a couple days a week of remote work. The salary range is between $40K-$50K and would include commission on top of the base salary. In addition, WBA pays for 100% of the employee's medical insurance!

The main function of this role will be to offer support with the day-to-day client maintenance. Responsibilities include, and are not limited to, the following:

Administrative

• Compose basic certificates as needed
• Pull MVRs (driving records), add/remove drivers from policies, and maintain driver lists for customers
• Follow up on policy change requests as well as review, scan, and mail endorsements
• Pull daily reports from various carrier websites
• Compose Voluntary Non-Driving Agreements (VNDA) as needed

Billing/Audit/Cancellations

• Review pending cancellation notifications
• Create and send non-pay, non-compliance, and final cancellation letters as needed
• Track status of customer pending cancellations and check for payment with carrier
• Follow up with carrier on cancellation forms to ensure policies cancel
• Handle incoming billing questions/concerns
• Follow up on bond renewals; check for payment and send letters as needed
• Assist CSR with getting worksheets for audits and scanning files
• Set up EFT for customers as needed

Renewals

• Download and scan insured copies of renewal policies
• Update renewal policy details in agency management system for policies that do not automatically download
• Compare renewal premiums (including credits/debits and material changes)
• Sort and mail renewals as well as set up renewal binders
• Pull Loss Runs for renewal re-shops as needed
• Pull monthly renewal report, set renewal tasks, and create binder lists for CSRs
