Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of quality food ingredients and products, has an immediate need for an experienced Production Scheduler, to join their winning team in Jacksonville. Our candidate of choice will manage and maintain the forecast and availability of parts and materials. Provides information to the Production Programmer-Scheduler and Operations team on product availability. Proactively identify constraints in production based off established routings. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: Assist with Root Cause Analysis for production scheduling opportunities for improvement. Develops production schedule. Assists with maintaining a strict production reporting process. Plan, and schedule shop floors for production work. Use PLEX, MACOLA and Microsoft Office tools including Crystal Reports to maintain production schedules. Select production quantities to achieve efficient production. Forecasting to be input into the system. Releases Shop Floors to Production Planner. Ability to train employee(s) as a backup for redundancy. Maintains and closes shop floors once completed. Ensure adherence to safety rules and practices. Works closely with other leads/supervisors/managers to ensure all issues are being addressed. Prepare reports and presentations as directed by the Operations Manager. Performs other duties as assigned. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Two-year college degree/certificate or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 2-years’ experience in manufacturing. Must complete and pass IPC Qualified Electronics Assembler Certification (IPC Safety, IPC ESD, IPC Handling and IPC Overview) during onboarding with CCK Employment. Internet software; PLEX, MACOLA ERP software, and be fluent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excl, PowerPoint, etc.) software.
