Configuration Analyst - Full-time

The Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Configuration Management Configuration Analyst (CA) to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Primary Responsibilities

The Configuration Management Configuration Analyst is responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Duties include ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations for data that is created from internal projects or supplied by the customer.  Configuration Analyst will work independently on moderately complex projects/assignments. Configuration Analyst will provide project support in reviewing contents of CDRL’s, SDRL’s, item records, change records and other items in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.  Configuration Analyst will assist CM team members in producing documentation such as CSA reports, audit reports, and creating data pull outputs as required. Configuration Analyst will support tasks in a dynamic environment, working closely with the CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality and other teams to support products throughout their lifecycle.  Configuration Analyst will be expected to work on site for a minimum of 4+ days a week.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant applicable field and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or less than 2 years with MS degree.

• Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

• Must have detailed knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.

• Must have detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types.

• Must have detailed knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.  (Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, Aras, etc.)

• Must have detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams and specifications.

• Proficient in Microsoft office products (primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio experience is a plus)

• Proficient in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent

• Capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and customer representatives.

• Good organizational skills and be detail oriented.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software

• Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO, Solidworks, etc.

• Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as Windchill, Solidworks PDM Pro, etc.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
