Level 1 DAS Technician
DAS Technician Job Description:
We are hiring DAS Technicians in the Denver area. The Level 1 DAS ( Distributed Antenna System ) Technician will be working on active construction sites under the supervision of the Project Manager and Construction Managers. First project will be taking place at the DIA Airport but must be willing to do some inner state travel. The technician will perform the following tasks:
- Ability to utilize basic hand tools including crimpers, wire wrap guns, strippers, wrenches, drills, etc.
- Installing DAS wireless equipment; antennas, coaxial, CAT 5/6/7 cable, fiber optic, etc.
- Gain hands-on experience with the DAS OEMs (JMA, CommScope, SOLiD, etc.)
Skillsets Needed:
- 1+ years in a hands-on-capacity implementing in-building Wireless Systems such as WiFi, DAS & Small Cell networks, or as an electricians apprentice, commercial low voltage cabling installer, fiber installer, or Communications lineman
- Basic knowledge about electrical circuits
- Willingness to learn and actively installing in a fast paced environment
- Have a valid driver’s license with access to transportation
