Lifeguard

We are URGENTLY hiring for experienced certified lifeguards! Lifeguards ensure safety of all members and program participants in the pool area. If you are a strong swimmer, or if you really like being around the water, the YMCA can provide certification assistance, if there are others in need of a class around the same time. Current cerfification is preferred. Lifeguards enforce the pool rules and also maintain cleanliness around the pool.

We have morning, afternoon, & evenings shifts available. Length of shift can vary, we are flexible! We also have Saturday/Sunday shifts available. If you want to work as a lifeguard apply today.

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Reliable, Mature, and positive attitude
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard, Community First Aid, and CPR for Professional Rescuers with AED certifications is preferred. If you don't currently have, we can assist with getting certified. Employment would not start until after certification
• Maintain appropriate physical fitness to enable rescue activities
