Material Handler Lead

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Material Handling lead to join a growing company within solar. This is a chance to help lead a growing team and work onsite at a 2.1 million SQFT factory. This role will manage 5 techs and 2 engineers. We are looking for candidates that have a strong background with hands on experience, process improvement and operations in these key areas (robotics, conveyers, Forklifts, AC drivers, Washers, Grinders). This role will gives you a chance to bring new knowledge into the organization and develop technical skill sets within the team. Implement new processes to meet scheduling needs within the full scope of the facility.

-5+yrs within Material handler role (lead or Supervisor)

- Strong ability to lead, stay organized and drive tasks

- Strong technical skill sets within (robotics, AC drivers, Conveyers, servo, Washers, Grinders)

- working knowledge with Automation tools (Siemens, Rockwell)

-Lead Complex Project or Technical Teams cross functionally or cross site

- Identify training needs and develop and provide training to other engineers, engineering technicians, and production associates

- working with a high volume product facilities (high output)
