Position Description:

• Respond to problems by troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, repairing, and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Perform proper preventative maintenance, repair and maintain the equipment
• Applicant is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting, replacement, repair parts for compressors, pumps and engines.
• Applicant must be familiar with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in the field as well as natural gas compressors and engines at the CO2 gas plant.
• Applicant must be familiar with gearboxes (reducers and multipliers).
• Applicant must be familiar with pump operations (vertical and horizontal).
• Applicant must be familiar with laser alignment procedures.
• Overhaul engines, compressors and related components as needed.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years experience in natural gas compressor maintenance or related field.
• Previous experience in oil and gas plant preferred.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, rebuild and align a variety of equipment including pumps, gearboxes, natural gas compressors gas driven and electric driven. Perform medium to heavy physical work
• Understand the basic operations of production equipment such as compressors, pumps, etc.
• Mechanical experience on pumps, engines and compressors.
• Must be able to work in a H2S environment
• Available for call-outs (evenings/nights, weekends and holidays) as shifts requires.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $52.00 - $55.00 per hour
