As the Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and assessing our instructional delivery methods, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education. You'll be at the forefront of guiding our teachers, coaches, and administrative staff to create a supportive and empowering learning environment.

Along with teaching, your responsibilities will include supervising and nurturing our instructional team, conducting thorough evaluations of learning outcomes, and identifying both internal and external resources to support our students' academic success. Your work will not only contribute to their academic achievements but also align with their postsecondary aspirations.

SOME QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Bachelor's degree in the subject specialty and a current Indiana Teaching Certification in the subject specialty.
  • Displays a working knowledge of the Indiana Academic Standards, Common Core State Standards, and 21st Century Skills and knowledge of disciplinary literacy.
  • Ability to plan and deliver instruction and evaluation of student learning.
  • Able to identify and comprehend issues, problems, and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
  • Articulates thoughts and expresses ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to comprehend others' needs. Delivers information in person, in writing, and in a digital world.
  • Provide timely guidance and effective feedback to empower others to strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to improve instruction.
  • Works well with others and makes valued contributions in a team setting to achieve the required goals and outcomes. Contributes to creating a positive learning environment that promotes productivity, mentoring, teamwork, and partnership.
  • Has working knowledge of G Suite and MS Office, as well as student information systems.
