Staffmark Drivers is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver in Hialeah, FL.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 am until done
Drivers must have Hazmat Endorsement.
No Touch Freight


Driver Job Details and Qualifications:

  • Operate company-owned and leased vehicles safely while delivering merchandise to customers, assist in loading and unloading merchandise on trucks, operate vehicles safely and in conformance with traffic laws, perform daily operational maintenance and safety checks, and report tickets and notes any discrepancies.
  • This position will follow assigned scheduling and routing of deliveries and make deliveries on time as scheduled, be capable of learning and operating truck routing software programs, follow proper procedures in reporting accidents, and assist in the routing of deliveries.
  • Must be able to frequently move up to 100 pounds, work in warehouse, city, and highway driving conditions, and maneuver in and out of trucks during delivery.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, possess good communication skills, and have a pleasant attitude, drive, and walk outside in all weather conditions, and communicate shortages of merchandise through proper channels to ensure accurate billing.
  • Handle stock carefully and safely, be conscious of quality and eliminate damage, and practice and adhere to established safety rules, policies, and established housekeeping standards.
  • Perform equipment safety review, report any violations or hazards to management, operate assigned warehouse equipment, and participate in scheduled cycle counts and physical inventory.


Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with the AS400 system, excellent verbal and written communication, good interpersonal and conflict management skills, strong problem-solving skills, and multitasking.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and High school diploma or GED and related experience.
  • Proficient math skills in units of measurement and multiplications, division, addition, and subtraction, 1-2 years previous warehouse experience in a distribution environment is desirable, experience operating distribution warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team environment, have a valid driver's license without excessive moving violations, and safely operate a step-van.
  • Must have Hazmat endorsements.
