Calibration Technician Job DescriptionMust have AS or BS degree Primary duties: Accurately and contemporaneously records data into Maximo the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Follows instructions in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform calibration as assigned on daily/weekly basis. Performs calibration on analytical scales, balances. Performs calibration on pressure related equipment (gauges, switches, transmitters, transducers, etc.) Performs calibration on temperature related equipment (cold rooms, environmental areas, RTDs, thermocouples, probes, freezers, etc.) Ability to lift 50 lb. (20 kg) of weight to perform calibration on scales, SUMs, tanks. Repeat the process to meet the full range. Provides support to Metrology team by offering an additional set of hands and relay status of indicators, switches, valves, or other items. Assists the "Rapid Response" team to assess, triage, and repair unplanned Metrology activities. Properly gowns when entering cleanroom environments. Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as required.1) What hours and days will this person be working? Technical ability demonstrated by previous work experience or from a technical/vocational school, experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (e.g. Maximo), Work in a current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) environment.5) What is the environment that this person will be working in (i.e. group setting vs individual role)? Person will work closely with other members of Metrology as a team but may work independently after training and for certain tasks.6) Is any testing required for this role? Applicant will be provided required training for any actions they would perform.7) Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role? On-site role.
