Job Description
Jefferson Solutions, the well-respected government consulting company of Jefferson Consulting Group, an award-winning woman-owned small business, is seeking multiple Acquisition Specialists to provide upcoming opportunities in federal agencies.
We are in the process of expanding our pool of Acquisition Specialists to meet Jefferson's upcoming and ongoing needs. This is not a job posting for a specific vacant position; this is a way to submit your resume for candidacy for future vacancies for this type of role. This posting will work as part of the contracting office to help solicit, award, and administer a wide variety of contract types.
The position provides support in all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle process within the program office to execute procurement/contract actions. Efforts include but are not limited to:
- Market research,
- Acquisition planning,
- Solicitation package development,
- Proposal evaluation,
- Analysis of cost and price,
- Award recommendations,
- Post-award administration, and
- Contract close-out in accordance applicable rules, policies, laws and regulations.
This role requires:
- Years of federal acquisition experience: Junior 1-3 years, Mid 4-7 years, Senior 7+ years
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred:
- PMP, FAC-P/PM, FAC-C or DAWIA Level I, II, III certification or equivalent
- CSAW (Civilian Service Acquisition Workshop) training preferred
- Experience with procurement data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
