About this job

Leads and manages the execution of Plexus Optix's operational plans, translating strategic goals into daily operations and ensuring efficiency and alignment with company objectives.

Oversees all planning and operational aspects, focusing on contract lab administration, supplier product management, formulary placement, pricing, and payment.

Builds and maintains relationships with industry partners, coordinating operational execution.

Manages contracted laboratory strategies, adjusting them for revenue optimization.

Collaborates with Vision Care leadership to establish operational pricing structures.

Implements operational initiatives, focusing on execution to achieve world-class standards.

Acts as Business Sponsor for division and company-wide projects, ensuring smooth implementation.

Coordinates activities with ophthalmic materials manufacturers and wholesale laboratories for operational collaboration.

Leads operational programs, ensuring adherence to plans and financial goals.

Monitors the performance of direct reports, conducts performance reviews, and provides operational coaching.

Manages the hiring process within the department, selecting qualified candidates for operational excellence and considers diversity in candidate selection.

Develops and manages the department budget, monitoring expenses within operational constraints.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 2 additional years of experience related to functional area.

Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports.

Six years of experience within the ophthalmic materials industry with a strong understanding of products, frame/lens fulfillment and industry players.

Proven skills in analytical thinking, problem solving, presentation, and negotiation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to align actions with operational objectives.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions. For more information regarding VSP Vision benefits, please.

Salary Ranges: $100,000.00 - $157,500.00
