Position Title: Welder

\nWage: $18-$25+/hour DOE

\nShift: 1st
\n
\nHours: 6am-2:45pm M-F + OT Saturday 6am-11am

\nQPS Employment Group has partnered with a busy company in Independence, Iowa to find  experienced Welders! With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, this company specializes in designing and producing high-quality equipment for various industries. We are seeking skilled Welders who will be responsible for proficiently performing welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

\nWelder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
\n- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
\n- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal components
\n- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs
\n- Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the welding area
\n
\nWelder Requirements:
\n- Experience in welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
\n- Proficient in reading blueprints
\n- Strong knowledge of welding techniques
\n- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
\n- Pass a weld test at the time of interview
\n
