Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of packaged goods, has an immediate need for an experienced Quality and Technical Coordinator, to join our growing team in Cohoes.

Our candidate of choice will play a pivotal part in maintaining our Quality Systems and Certifications including but not limited to: ISO-9001:2015, Ecovadis, Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, Science Based Targets and supporting technical initiatives across various departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain quality documentation including updating procedures and standards
  • Complete employee training and associated documentation. Complete corrective action investigation and documentation.
  • Complete corrective action investigation and documentation.
  • Compile corrective action data and maintain internal quality requirements, ex. divisional Quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate technical projects, ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards.
  • Generate and document Design of Experiment (DOE) parameters, defining successful outcomes.
  • Assist the Technical Project Manager and other staff with on-site testing and line trials.
  • Assist in evaluating material application deficiencies and proposing solutions to eliminate reoccurrences.
  • Your primary focus will be on maintaining elements of our stringent quality control systems and providing technical support to enhance project outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a quality control or technical support role preferred.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control techniques.
  • Comfortable using quality control instruments and computer applications.
  • Ability to identify and address print quality issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, ex. Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical abilities.
  • Physical dexterity and color perception required for quality assessment.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing.
