Requires 3+ years High Volume Full Life Cycle Accounts Payable Experience in a large multi-State retail chain with 1 year of leadership experience managing people, 1 year project management and strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable supervisor is an in-office role leading a team of approximately 12. This role plays an important leadership role within the Accounts Payable Team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager. This position will require analytical and leadership skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In addition to core roles and responsibilities, this position will be a leader in driving projects and identifying new performance improvement opportunities

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for hiring, training, and supervising accounts payable coordinators
  
• Analyze and evaluate processes and procedures, implementing changes as needed
  
• Identifying process inefficiencies, discovering root causes, and resolving as appropriately
  

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversees reconciliation of vendor statements
  
• Uncover and analyze patterns/treads between operations and finance
  
• Resolve integration errors between systems
  
• Prevent or address any service interruption on accounts
  
• Assists with transitioning vendor accounts for new stores
  
• Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors
  
• Provides accurate reports and analysis on team data and metrics
  
• Performs other duties as assigned
  

Requirements

• 3+ years high volume Accounts Payable experience
• 1+ years leadership experience
  
• Demonstrated experience achieving team performance improvements
  
• 1+ years project management experience
  
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  
• Desire and ability to work in our Mesa, headquarters office (this is not a hybrid role)
  
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
