How You'll Contribute to the Team:

The Director, Treasury manages day-to-day activities in cash and treasury functions to meet the financial obligations and long-term financial strategy of the Company, including managing overall finances, cash flow, working capital and forecasting, financial risks and covenants, debt, financial instruments and investments, and financial institution relationships.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Supports treasury and cash management operations and helps develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to evaluate future capital needs to ensure organization can meet financial obligations and recommend ways to improve capital structure.
  • Recommends and implements improvement to current cash management processes.
  • Oversees cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short term investing and borrowing, wire payments, fraud prevention, hedging, bank account set up and maintenance, and bank relationship management.
  • Assists in managing and maintaining the Company's banking infrastructure, including online portals, assigning roles & responsibilities to achieve proper segregation of duties, and ensuring treasury system integrations achieve efficient and effective results.
  • Maintains strong understanding of the accounting and financial structure of each project entity, including flow of funds distribution, lockbox agreements, and legal requirements as it relates to cash management.
  • Analyzes, interprets and communicates financial operating results to provide information and guidance to company management and executives.
  • Monitors compliance with credit agreements requirements including covenants and financial ratios and provides assistance in the preparation of the compliance package provided to lenders.
  • Collaborates with accounting and finance leadership in providing overall direction to the accounting and finance team in support of company and treasury objectives/initiatives.
  • Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities related to treasury.
  • Assists in preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasting.
  • Oversees issuance of letters of credit.
  • Oversees derivative/swap instruments and interest exposure.
  • Manages performance bonds and guarantees.
  • Supports compliance with and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Creates and communicates treasury policies and manuals in a standardized and professional manner.
  • Be a principal contributor in fostering a strong team environment between accounting and finance.
  • Oversees Treasury support functions and team members as needed.
  • Assists with miscellaneous projects or initiatives, as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Specific Requirements Include:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Management, or Economics.
  • CFA, CTP or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years' relevant treasury and finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, financial analysis and treasury risk management.
  • Ability to develop, inspire, and manage team members and processes to achieve departmental goals.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software packages. Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Requires a team player in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Professional and positive attitude required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
