Bone Marrow Transplant Unit - Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of Bone Marrow Transplant Unit experience is required.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license prior to placement start.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

CPI Certification is required for all ED and PSYCH Positions and can be obtained during Onboarding

We do not do any block or self-scheduling at any LCMC campus. Willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

Weekend Requirement: Yes may require every other weekend, unit needs vary throughout the week

Holiday Requirement: Yes

Float Requirement: Yes, may float if BMT census drops

Must have Malignant Hematology/BMT experience or Oncology experience

Will accept Oncology Experience (ONS Chemo Certified) and orient to BMT

Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Bone Marrow Biopsy, Central Line Management, & Blood and Bone Marrow Transplants

Required Certs: ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy course

Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel.

Maximum days off: 5 days
