Position Title: Assembler – 1st + 2nd Shift
Wage: $13.50 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri); 3:30pm-12:00am (Mon-Fri)
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for an Assembler at a company in West Burlington, IA. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cutting and stripping wires with hand tools.
- Sorting, color coding and measuring wires.
- Crimping and routing various lengths, types, and gauges of wire with hand tools.
- Assembling wires based on diagram provided for order.
Assembler Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to perform repetitive grasping of hand tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on semi-repetitive basis.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
