Responsibilities:

• Administering IVIG intravenous infusions
• Following prescribed protocols and ensuring patient safety
• Monitoring patients during infusion for any adverse reactions
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license in Louisiana
• Proven experience in administering intravenous infusions, particularly IVIG
• Familiarity with Gamunex C or other brands of IVIG and its administration protocols
• Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
