Your New Role:

As the Property Manager of Uptown Hutch, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the center's daily operations, ensuring excellence in maintenance, tenant relations, financial management, safety, risk management, and community engagement. This hands-on management position requires regular interfacing with tenants, vendors, contractors, community representatives, and senior management to foster an environment of growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Administration: Develop, implement, and administer annual financial budgets; prepare financial reports; oversee property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement project expenditures.
  • Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day operations, including facility planning, maintenance, security, and property projects. Evaluate property needs and recommend improvements as required.
  • Lease Management & Negotiations: Manage all aspects of leasing, from negotiations to compliance with established lease obligations. Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, resolving conflicts and ensuring compliance with lease provisions, property policies, and regulations.
  • Marketing, Communication, & Public Relations: Plan and implement special events and promotional activities, manage digital and traditional advertising, and foster community relations.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Property Manager within the retail industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with 3-5 years of AP and AR experience.
  • Proficiency in property management and accounting-based software, with a preference for experience in Yardi.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset for resolving tenant issues.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
