Sales Representative - Agriculture Manufacturing

Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable sales professional expertise in agriculture equipment distribution to support our Waukon, IA - Premiere Kubota. The successful candidate will be responsible for territory sales across these primary counties:

Howard, Chickasaw, Winneshiek, Fayette, Allamakee and Clayton.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sell our materials and services to current and prospective customers through in-person travel visits, phone calls and emails.
• Generate additional sales revenues by cross-selling to current customers.
• Provide exemplary sales service with prompt responses and accurate communication.
• Answer questions to overcome resistance and objections, quote and estimate services, and negotiate with prospects and customers.
• Build a referral network from existing customers
• Accurately collect & record data as required during the sales and follow-up process
• Maintain standards for payment at the time of sale.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the agriculture manufacturing and materials industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Required: 2-4 years of previous sales/customer relations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recommended: bachelor's degree or greater from an accredited college or university or the equivalent of an associate degree.
