We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Welding Instructor to assist with the training of students in the art of welding and fabrication. As an Assistant Welding Instructor, you will work in cooperation with the lead instructor to provide be students with the practical and theoretical aspects of welding, including safety procedures, welding techniques, and the use of welding equipment. You will also provide guidance to students to help them develop their welding skills and knowledge.


Responsibilities:

- Assist in the teaching of students the principles of welding and fabrication, including safety procedures, welding techniques, and equipment usage.

- Implement lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure that students receive a comprehensive education in welding and fabrication.

- In collaboration with lead instructor, provide guidance to students to help them develop their welding skills and knowledge.

- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to help them improve.

- Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment for students to work in.

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in welding and fabrication to ensure that your teaching is current and relevant.


Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Assistant Welding Instructor or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and interact with students.

- Ability to deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.

- Ability to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

- A passion for helping others attain their goals and a commitment to helping students develop their skills.
