Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the design effort on assigned projects, working under the direction of the Director of Engineering. Your duties will include preparing control systems designs using AutoCAD, writing and documenting software, reviewing budgets and schedules, and collaborating with the Controls Assembly Department to provide efficient solutions during the build phases. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior Controls Engineers, develop project schedules, debug software, and participate in the installation phase of the project.

Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, not required.
  • Strong knowledge of custom automation and precision machining.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming and HMI development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for control systems design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior engineers.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project installations.
  • 20% Max Travel.
