International Partner Advanced EHF Support Center (IPASC) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Project Manager

Job Description

ATG is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic AEHF Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Project Manager and Site Lead who manages and overseas all aspects of the US Space Force's International Partners (IP) AEHF Support Center (IPASC). This position has overall responsibility for managing daily IPASC operations, scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, and contractual deliverables, as well as infrastructure and enabling capabilities in facilities, security, cyber, equipment and other site-specific functions. Works closely with IPASC Tech Lead providing oversight of technical planning and engineering support for operations and sustainment to the International Partners of AEHF. Overseas and collaborates with remote key personnel providing back-up operations. Provides inputs to the government on all IPASC capabilities in operations, communications and coalition planning, cryptographic operations, training, test development and execution, data separation and export control and other essential support. Develops, supports, and maintains the organization's systems infrastructure. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to complex aspects of a project. Reviews technology readiness assessments. Monitors COMSEC accounts and familiarization development efforts supporting each of the IPs. Support the development of long-range planning. Develops detailed project plans. Monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports. Additionally, Project Manager evaluates and manages risk. Performs Quality Assurance on all deliverables incorporating quality measures and standards to project deliverables. Possesses strong knowledge of satellite and communications technologies as well as cyber, security, ITAR and COMSEC requirements. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit department. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Requires international and domestic travel.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years experience.
  • Proven track record developing trusted relationships with government representatives and team members.
  • Strong communications skills - both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated team leader with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively and perform multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to complete assignments correctly, independently, and in a timely manner.


Preferred Qualification:

10 years experience overseeing SATCOM operations.

Program/Project Management team leadership experience and/or PMP certified.

Security+ or higher CompTIA certification.

Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
