Job Description

POSITION – Paper Plant Production Worker
JOB LOCATION – Cornell, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-term, Direct Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Nights (6:15pm-6:15am - 2,2,3 Schedule) 3 days 1 week, 4 the other - That's only 7 days in 2 weeks!
STARTING PAY – $17-$22 per hour DOE with a $1.50 shift differential for working nights

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous manufacturing experience preferred, farming experience a bonus
The Production Worker will work as a team to feed and cut paper when needed safely.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and correctly
- Re-thread paper through dryers
- Cut, staple, and tape down paper
- Roll paper rolls down physically
- Feed paper into rewinder
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 40+ lbs.
- Ability to work in an environment with temperature fluctuation (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
- Ability to handle intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing and lifting material or equipment (some of which may be heavy or awkward).
- Understanding of the importance of safety, team work, communication, and good attendance
- Previous manufacturing or farming experience a plus
- Previous forklift or mobile equipment a plus
