Director of Operations

Clint Orms Engravers & Silversmiths are designers and producers of handcrafted belt buckles, jewelry and accessories that embody a carefully preserved Western heritage, a personal touch, and exceptional workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing production, distribution and procurement teams.

• Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization

• Developing and executing new growth directives, including leading process improvement initiatives and managing projects - including construction projects and new technology sourcing and implementation

• Working to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training and internship programs

• Working to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters

• Liaising with departmental heads to ensure company-wide operational compliance

• Provide costing for custom products

• Managing procurement and resource allocation

Experience, Education and Required Skills:

• 5+ years of progressive management experience within Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, or similar sectors. Experience in the jewelry industry is a plus
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Personnel management of direct and indirect staff including performance reviews, individual development plans, performance improvement plans, performance management plans, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
