Host/Barista/Foodprep at RAIL SIDE CAFE

Rail Side Cafe in San Dimas, CA is looking for one host/hostess to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 322 South San Dimas Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phones and book reservations
• Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
• Estimating wait time for guests
• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Strong organizational and motivational skills
• Proven working experience as a barista
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Set up and break down workstation
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Weigh and measure ingredients to be used
• Experience working in BOH position
• Dedicated to working with a team towards one common goal
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $16.00 - $20.00/hour.
