Door Shop Assembler

Summary: The employee performs a variety of duties including assemble & paint doors, unload stock and inbound materials, and prep and load doors for shipment.

Role and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Assemble door components per customer specifications
• Fabricate doors and windows
• Be able to frequently lift 10lbs and occasionally 75lbs
• Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
• Load company and customer vehicles with outbound materials
• Safely operate a forklift to assist in the handling of materials
• Sweep and clean facilities
• Assist in counting inventory
  

Requirements: Must be willing to learn paint production and have skills working with basic wood working and metal working tools. Must be able to follow written instructions so that shipping papers can be easily followed and needed information can be filled. Knowledge of carpentry or construction experience is a plus. Prior experience painting and prepping doors preferred

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
