Are you looking for a part-time position where you can make a difference? Lifeguards ensure safety of all members and program participants in the pool area. If you are a strong swimmer, or if you really like being around the water, the YMCA can provide certification assistance.
We have morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. Length of shifts can vary. We also have Saturday shifts, and Sundays in the near future. If you want to work as a lifeguard call today.
Benefits:
- All part-time positions at the Y include an Individual membership and program discounts
- Paid Sick time
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pool or beach supervisory experience preferred
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard, Community First AId, and CPR for Professional Rescuers with AED certifications preferred. We will assist with certifications for those with prior experience for this role.
