Responsibilities:
- Work with production control and other departments to ensure trouble-free and timely start-up of new jobs and engineering changes.
- Prepare documentation of new work and set dates for completion of tooling, sampling, pilot runs, layouts, etc.
- Track, record and report progress.
- Suggest design or process changes to enhance value on existing and new designs and procedures.
- Communicate required changes to appropriate plant personnel.
- Participate in the Cost Estimate Requisitions (CER's) process by developing estimates of tooling design, yield, and cost.
- Conduct time studies for process and procedure efficiencies.
- Participate in audit preparation procedures, processes and documentation.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas or similar field of study:
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy - Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week
