Prior Authorization experience a plus. This is a sedentary job requiring sitting at a desk and working on the computer and calling patients, pharmacies, and other provider offices.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, or implement tasks
- Answering patients calls when they are having complications or have medical questions
- Answering physician to physician calls and transferring to the correct physician
- Processing patient refills, prior authorizations, and referrals
- May be cross trained in our shot room giving immunizations, allergy shots, and biologic injection, as well as mixing vials.
- Currently licensed LPN or RN in state of employment
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid drivers license
- First aid/CPR certification required
