Job Summary
We are seeking an LPN or RN to join our team. In this role, you will work primarily in our triage department assisting patients by answering patient questions, or tasking providers to obtain the information that needs to be provided to the patient. Prior Authorization experience a plus. This is a sedentary job requiring sitting at a desk and working on the computer and calling patients, pharmacies, and other provider offices.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, or implement tasks
  • Answering patients calls when they are having complications or have medical questions
  • Answering physician to physician calls and transferring to the correct physician
  • Processing patient refills, prior authorizations, and referrals
  • May be cross trained in our shot room giving immunizations, allergy shots, and biologic injection, as well as mixing vials.
Qualifications
  • Currently licensed LPN or RN in state of employment
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
  • Valid drivers license
  • First aid/CPR certification required
