Description:
  • Maintain service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Must have the knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical issues with a variety of diesel trucks and trailers.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, backhoes, dozers, forklifts, trucks and skid steers is preferred.
  • Small engine repair – tampers, pumps, etc.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems.
  • Maintaining equipment by listening to operator input, conducting inspections, repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions; replacing parts and components on all heavy equipment.
  • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
  • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Ability to keep company proprietary information confidential

Qualifications: * 3+ years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent quality work.
  • Ability to define goals, meet urgent deadlines, organize, and prioritize projects.
  • Must meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency.
  • Flexible to work off hours, overtime, and weekends, in an industrial environment which may include being outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, work independently and multitask.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and background check.
  • Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
  • Knowledge of safety standards for motor vehicles and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry.

Licensure And Certification

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - preferred.



Requirements:
  • Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Willingness to travel, 25% (Preferred)
