Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Brief Job Description/Summary: Provide individualized training and supports to persons served to accomplish tasks at home and in the community

List of Job Duties:

-Provide assistance in problem solving, personal care, and scheduling appointments

-Assist with socialization opportunities and developing natural supports

-Provide transportation

-Dispense medications

-Document services provided

Required Experience and/or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: If you have the ability to support and assist persons with disabilities, the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively, and the ability to relate to persons served and their families, supportive leadership and on-the-job training will help you be successful in this job.
