Description
Our company goal is to perform machining services for specialized applications of replacement parts or repair/refurbishment of damaged components to a variety of industries. These industries include but are not limited to mining, milling, aerospace, energy, and railroad. Most jobs are one-off components and large in nature. The jobs could be up to 168” in diameter by 50 tons in turning and 144” by 360” in milling and boring. We strive to complete all jobs timely, expertly and in the most safe, cost-efficient manner possible.

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements. The goal is to ensure effective operations and optimize procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review samples, drawings, operate scanning equipment to create CAD models 
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Take measurements and mark material for cutting 
  •  Select appropriate machines (e.g., lathes) and position or load material for a job
  • Operate overhead cranes & forklifts to place raw stock
  • Determine and program speeds and feeds of machine etc.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
  •  Responsible for personal safety and safety of co-workers
  •  Other duties as assigned by management


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset
  • Proven experience as a machinist utilizing manual machines tools & CNC
  • Must have basic machining tools
  • Possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail & perfection 
  • Proficient with mathematics and analytical abilities
  •  Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, mills, grinders etc.)
  • Ability to precisely use precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) 
  • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials
  • Ability to fabricate parts/tools necessary for shop (including one-off fixtures)
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
