Do you have a passion for coffee and a knack for Pest Management? Are you a natural leader with a keen eye for detail? If so, then we want YOU on our team!

We're seeking a highly motivated Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Supervisor to join our fight against invasive pests and ensure our coffee trees continue to thrive!

Pay Range from $67k-$75k p/yr + benefits and free coffee!

In this role, you'll be the hero our coffee needs, combining your expertise in pest control, data analysis, and leadership to:

  • Become our Coffee CSI: Scout the orchards weekly, identifying and tracking Coffee Borer Beetle (CBB) and Coffee Leaf Rust (CLR) infestations like a pro.
  • Unleash the power of IPM: Develop a strategic plan using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to keep these villains at bay, utilizing a variety of methods like biological, cultural, and chemical controls.
  • Data, glorious data: Analyze scouting data, crop stage, and health to create targeted treatment schedules – you'll be our resident coffee whisperer!
  • Lead the pack: Motivate and guide your crew to achieve orchard excellence, ensuring proper application methods and record-keeping (daily spray records, anyone?).
  • From the ground up: Experiment with new pest control products, collaborating with industry experts to find the most effective solutions for a sustainable future.
  • Safety first: Ensure all employees follow safety protocols and regulations, keeping our team and environment healthy.

Do you have the following qualifications?

  • High school graduate/equivalent with an emphasis in vocational arts (a 2-year degree in agriculture is a plus!)
  • Must possess (or secure within 6 months of hire) and maintain for the duration of employment a “Certification for Private Applicators of Restricted Pesticides” license from the State of Hawaii.
  • Must possess (or secure within 6 months of hire) and maintain for the duration of employment a Part 107 FAA drone pilot license.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and maintain it for the duration of employment.
  • Possess good administrative, personnel, and overall communication skills.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work in night operations.
