Service Manager (Concrete)

Lunar Companies is looking for hard-working, dedicated people to join our team as a Service Manager. Our Service Managers ensure the project as a whole achieves consistent results when it comes to the final texture, thickness, and density in accordance with company and client expectations.

Essential Functions

• Has knowledge of all phases of residential concrete foundations, slabs, and flatwork as well as other residential homebuilding processes.

• Perform and manage a wide range of concrete repairs and finishing work in response to warranty service calls.

• Understands and interprets blueprints in order to correct errors during initial production.

• Manage the daily, weekly billing through the entire job cycle.

• Ensures that crew have all tools and materials required to complete all different types of jobs in a number of different types of climates.

• Communicates politely and professionally when interacting with customers and employees.

• Manage the scheduling of the service department, ensuring the best use of manpower.

• Train your department in the field and office environment. Develop and implement a training guide for each of your employees.

• Manage the departments assigned tools and equipment, to include keeping on top of scheduled maintenance and replacement of broken tools.

• Maintain a working knowledge of the department's budget (tooling, trucks and equipment) related items.

• Adapts to changes by effectively communicating revisions to the service team throughout the duration of the project.

• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Operations Manager, safety team or HR manager.

• Enforce the wearing of appropriate clothing and PPE.

Experience:

• 5 years of professional working experience in the concrete or construction industry.

• Experience as a concrete construction crew leader or supervisor.

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: Indiana and Ohio
