Graphic Artist

Rocky Coast Printworks, an industry leader in producing cutting-edge custom logo apparel and promotional marketing products, is seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Artist to join our team. Since 1990, we have been providing our clients with innovative solutions that enhance brand awareness, customer loyalty, and drive increased sales. As a Graphic Artist at Rocky Coast Printworks, you will have the opportunity to work with well-known national companies, as well as many local businesses, contributing to the development of their new branding solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Create unique designs for current and prospective clients, utilizing both original concepts and elements from existing designs. These designs will be featured on merchandise used for marketing, sales, and promotional purposes.
• Create mockups for artwork ready to print on apparel and promotional products to ensure accuracy for production and customer expectations.
• Organize and maintain graphic files, including logos, proofs, and other assets, ensuring a neat and orderly system.
• Collaborate on the creation and editing of marketing materials for Rocky Coast Printworks, including email campaigns, sales flyers, social media content, web ads, website promotions, and more.
• Assist in generating marketing and promotional ideas for in-house use, such as promotional product design and sales promotions.

Required Experience and Skills:

• A degree in graphic design, marketing or similar is preferred but will consider a degree in process or relevant experience.
• Must have proven work experience as a production artist, graphic designer, or similar.
• A portfolio of completed graphics and designs.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, with a strong command of vector art creation and manipulation.
• Strong skills in Photoshop for image editing and manipulation.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing priorities daily.
• Adherence to brand and style guidelines, with the ability to follow direction closely.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive, taking initiative and ownership of assigned projects.
• Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This is a part time position, starting at 25 hours per week, with opportunity to move to full time in the future.
