Manufacturing Warehouse Assembler

We are seeking a Warehouse Manufacturing Assembler for an Industrial Garage Door Company in North Charlotte, to become an integral part of our team! You will perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Must be comfortable with heavy lifting, physical workloads and a non-climate controlled warehouse.

Pay Rate: $17-18/hr.

Hours: Monday - Friday, First Shift

Warehouse Assembler Main Duties include:

• Read/interpret pick tickets, accurately pick items, assemble components based on the guidance from our trainers, if necessary (some orders with not require assembly). Develop a repertoire of assembly knowledge based on experience and discretion.
• Effective testing of assembled product based on guidance from our trainers.
• Keep aisles/stocking space clean
• Sweeping floor to maintain warehouse/working area
• Other various/general/typical warehouse duties upon request

Warehouse Assembler Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiar and comfortable with basic tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Mechanical experience or mechanical inclination a plus
• Basic logic skills / Logical deduction skills
• Ability to implement double-checks in workflow to help ensure accuracy at multiple stages of processes
• Effective time management
• Ability to discuss/understand technical information
