Mountain People’s Health Councils, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking to hire an experienced CFO to lead the financial and accounting functions for our growing organization. Our desire is to find an individual who is pro-active, team-oriented, who has proven leadership and excellent communication skills to serve as a partner to the CEO and administrative team in carrying out the vision of the organization with a $20 million + budget.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred)

· Ten (10) + years of progressively responsible financial management experience in health care industry

· Minimum of five to seven years of experience in financial management and senior leadership, exemplifying integrity, strong organizational & communication skills, while being results-oriented/driven

· Proficiency using financial management software, spreadsheet, and financial system programs and applications (Sage 50+, Kronos), MS Office, & AthenaPractice

· Experience managing financial risk of organizations

· Experience with budget management and cash flow

· Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations

· Previous work experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Look- Alike environment with knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to HRSA regulations and policies is strongly preferred. Likewise, experience with 330 Grant management and reporting, Payor Contracting, Revenue Cycles, and a 340B program is also preferred.

· Must be able to work independently and productively with minimal supervision

 

In return, MPHC offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long-term and short-term disability insurance, MASA coverage, 403 (b) with contribution and 5% match , generous PTO and holiday policies.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 commensurable with experience, with potential incentive bonus based on performance criteria.
