Job Description
Mobile Staff Solutions is searching for an experienced Sub-Arc Operator for repairing and cladding large forgings and weldments. This is for our client in the Tampa area. The Operator will be responsible for producing on time quality welding work by performing the duties and responsibilities outlined below. To be consider please be sure you have the MUST HAVES and REQUIRMENTS listed.
MUST HAVES/REQUIRMENTS:
· Min. 5 years’ Experience doing X-Ray Quality Welding
· Ability to read blueprints
· 6G Welding Skills
· Flux Core Welding Skills
· Sub-Arc Welding Skills
· MIG Welding Skills
· Must be able to pass weld qualifies for various grades of shafting material
· Must have cutting experience with arc gouging
· ASME Vessel experience a plus!
Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following.
· Prepare and set up appropriate welding equipment parameters and processes as required by the contract drawing and approved welding procedures.
· Weld as needed using Sub Arc Welding, SMAW, GMAW techniques.
· Cut and fuse metals using arc gouging technique.
· Follow standard procedures in maintaining welders traceability on the work piece when work is completed.
· Maintain good housekeeping in your work area of responsibility
· Take good care of equipment from welding machines to welding positioners, etc.
· Ensure only designated and correct weld wire is used.
· Communicate with your supervisor in all aspect (safety, productivity and quality) of work
· Always achieve high production with good quality output.
Delivering better candidates by customizing the screening and assessment process for each and every customer.
Quickly building a diverse candidate pipeline to reduce hiring time and cost.
Offering flexible workforce options such as: temp, temp-to-hire, and direct hires.
