Seeking a Contracted Quality Assurance Specialist at a pay rate of $70.26/hour (benefits available) 

The ideal candidate will ensure all construction activities adhere to quality standards and specifications. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our solar energy projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Inspect and monitor quality requirements by company Quality Management System manual, policies, procedures, and project specifications.

  • Read, interpret, and understand construction contracts, specifications, standards, codes, and drawings relevant to inspection duties.

  • Inspect all construction phases, including civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and architectural work.

  • Ensure contractors work with approved plans, specifications, and updated contract drawings.

  • Maintain quality control in alignment with project guidelines and contract standards.

  • Monitor work operations for compliance with quality and safety regulations, taking appropriate action in case of violations.

  • Initiate Non-Conformance reports (NCR) and/or Corrective Action Request (CAR) to address quality issues.

  • Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of materials, components, and sub-assemblies.

  • Conduct or witness various tests and quality checks as per inspection requirements.

  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project stakeholders.

  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work regulations.

 

Qualifications


     
  • High School Diploma or equivalent- Required (Bachelor's Degree- Preferred)

  • Previous experience in quality assurance or construction inspection is preferred.

  • Knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and quality management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Certification in quality management or related fields is a plus.
