SUMMARY: The Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and operating warehouse equipment. They are also responsible for cleaning and quality-checking the machinery to ensure everything works as it should.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
• Set up and operate a variety of machines to ensure each is operating to maximum efficiency.
• Utilize checklists to ensure all functions of the machine are set to begin production.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with procedures.
• Perform related functions to provide complete repairs in accordance with our Preventative Maintenance Plan.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily work duties.
• Routinely move product within the immediate manufacturing work area, include across isle, using shop assigned equipment as required, and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.
• Support to continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting teammates when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience.
• Understanding of production procedure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working with die cutting equipment using flexible dies
• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Technical Degree is a plus
