Aerotek is hiring maintenance electricians for a manufacturing company located in Byhalia, MS. These positions are 6 month contract to hire opportunities paying between $28-32/hr depending on experience. Shift: 6pm-6am or 7pm-7am on 2-2-3 schedule
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an industrial multi-craft maintenance technician, performing mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repairs in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to repair and troubleshoot control systems, relays, photo eyes, circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting automated equipment/robotics strongly preferred
Job Description:
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records
