Licensed Practice Nurse or Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients. This is a part-time position for 2 days per week, Mondays and Wednesdays, in our office in Albany, Georgia. There may be opportunities for more work dates for the candidate willing to commute and work in our office in Warner Robins, Georgia, and a stipend will be paid to the candidate for their travel from Albany to Warner Robins. These opportunities will be ideal for the candidate looking to supplement their income.

​Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care and treatment
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks including obtaining vital signs and data entry of patient historical information
• Provide assistance to medical staff for injection procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Educate and update patients on medical treatments

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields is advantageous to the candidate, however training will be provided
• Familiarity with electronic health record
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a moderately-paced environment
