Job Description
High Lean Pork and Huron Pork are currently seeking applicants for Sow Unit positions. If you are interested in working with animals this rewarding career might be for you! Competitive wages at $15.00 base PLUS $3 per hour in quarterly performance bonuses (bonuses begin after 20 weeks of employment). Responsibilities: Daily animal care and feeding, Monitoring the barn environment and Following Standard Operating Procedures in a swine breeding and farrowing operation.
Requirements: Have excellent animal husbandry skills, Available to work a short-shift every other weekend, and Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
