Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Supervise planning team. Lead finished good inventory planning strategy. Develop processes to improve stock availability and meet company objectives.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and production plants.
  • Oversee the accuracy of item coding, configurations, descriptions, and costs.
  • Manage inventory and supply schedules for select OEMs and special accounts, work directly with customers on delivery and issue resolution.
  • Support customer service team to meet customer needs. Support warehouse, shipping, and receiving for timely and accurate delivery performance.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams on stocking agreements, product introduction, and product end of life.
  • Work with all levels of management and report on performance objectives.
  • Assist and support the General Operations order processing team.
  • Other tasks/functions as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of supply chain, operations, and/or customer service experience. Power transmission industry preferred.
  • CPIM Certification preferred or pursuing.
  • 2 years supervision or training experience required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to handle a multitude of tasks.
  • Self-motivated to learn with a desire and talent to advance professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills.
  • High standards of integrity required.
  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Works well in teams and has strong coaching skills.
  • ERP experience required. QAD experience is a major plus.
