Cake Decorator - Full-time / Part-time

Basic Function: To provide excellent customer service by meeting the customers’ cake order request in a timely manner.

Examples Of Work Performed:

• Provides excellent customer service.
• Answer phone correctly & take phone orders.
• Takes orders & fill promptly or place in appropriate place for later date.
• Ice & decorate all cakes for orders & service cases-variety as well as decorated.
• Keeps counters, glass, cases and all work area clean and neat at all times.
• Maintains excellent personal hygiene habits.
• Follows all safety & security procedures.
• Stocks and rotates all shelves & cases as needed through the day, all displays are to be full at a set time every day as stated in our procedure manual.
• Puts away & keeps supplies and products stored neatly in proper place when the truck delivers.
• Takes out garbage.
• Sweeps & mops floors daily at the end of every shift.
• Opens or closes department without supervision.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the manager.

Assists on the frontend to help bag and carryout groceries to customers' vehicle.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility:

• There are no supervisory/managerial responsibilities for this job.

Work Environment:

• Job requires standing for most of the entire work period, must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stoop and walk. Must be able to with stand both hot and cold temperatures, possibly working around the ovens and cooking area as well as in the freezers and walk in coolers.

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to be flexible, work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use the meat slicer and weight scale.
• Ability to answer phone and take orders correctly.
