Job Summary

As the Optimum Director of Sales Readiness, B2B, you play a pivotal role in supporting the Optimum Business to Business sales organization. This director role will be highly consultative and responsible for the execution of the program management of training and communication to sales frontline teams. In this role, the director will oversee the customer experience combined with our best products by rethinking our customer's journey, elevating our successful processes, and applying innovative new solutions. Developing a customer experience culture, mining all customer experience data inputs, and providing analysis around competitive insights. This role partners and collaborates with all sales channels to assist with efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales readiness roadmap to ensure that the B2B sales teams are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to understand the unique needs and challenges of the B2B sales organization, and tailor sales readiness programs to address specific needs
  • Design and deliver product knowledge, sales methodologies, objection handling, and customer engagement strategies
  • Identify and assess sales performance gaps, and develop targeted programs and initiatives to address those gaps
  • Define and track key sales readiness metrics and KPIs to measure the impact and effectiveness of sales enablement and engagement of the B2B sales organization
  • Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and integration of sales readiness initiatives with go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales campaigns
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales readiness team, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning with the sales organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing or relevant field is required
  • 5-7 years of in sales enablement, sales training, within a B2B environment
  • 3 years in a leadership position
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sales readiness programs and initiatives that have positively impacted B2B sales performance and results
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales process, customer engagement strategies, and sales methodologies to address the unique needs of B2B sales teams
  • Strong project management skills
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to measure the impact of sales readiness programs and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgement, and decision-making skills in highly complex situations
