We are currently seeking a MongoDB Database Administration to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks MongoDB Database Admin to join our team.

The MongoDB Database Adminwill be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Mongo RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our client applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Manage MongoDB databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Database performance tuning.
• Planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments (RAC. Dataguard etc.).
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experienceon MongoDB in database administration, in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers is required including:
  • Database health validation and appropriate migration pattern/tools/wave calendar for applications.
  • Provisioning, Build, Configuration, Patching & Maintenance.
  • Automation capabilities - Validating and assisting in the enablement of automated capabilities
  • Database migrations - Dedicated support for application migration waves
  • Vendor Engagement - Triage support to remediate identified issues during migrations
